WHAT I OFFER:

My clinical practice is trauma-informed and I provide evidence-based interventions as recommended by national guidance.

Psychological Therapy
I work with individuals experiencing a wide range of issues including depression, grief, complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, eating disorders, chronic pain and self-harm.

I work face to face in person at my clinics in Pembrokeshire and London and also offer remote sessions via a secure online platform.

My main therapeutic approaches are EMDR and DBR and I integrate elements from other therapeutic modalities to inform my work (see My Approach).

I offer pro bono work through the Trauma Response Network (TRN) (traumaresponsenetwork.org).  TRN is a rapid trauma response service offering immediate access to EMDR therapy free of charge to people affected by mass trauma events nationwide. TRN was set up in the wake of the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017 and is currently supporting people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic the “Black Lives Matter” protests and the wars in Ukraine and Gaza.

I offer cranial sacral therapy at Women & Health, a community-based health organisation that delivers affordable complementary and talking therapies to women in the London Borough of Camden through a range of projects and services.

Clinical Supervision and Consultation - for healthcare professionals
I provide supervision to individuals (psychologists and other healthcare professionals), in the public, private and voluntary sectors.

I also offer group supervision and reflective practice to teams and services.

Training - for healthcare professionals
I offer bespoke training packages on a range of topics to meet service needs.  Please contact me for further information.

I am an advanced practitioner in the Tree of Life methodology and offer introductory training workshops.

Fees

Please contact me for a confidential discussion regarding fees. I offer a limited number of pro bono and lower cost sessions for those in need with limited financial resources.

How I Work

I aim to be open and transparent about the way I work from the outset, so that you know what to expect from therapy. I do this to ensure that I can provide a safe and consistent service to you and so that you can get the most out of therapy. If you decide to start therapy with me, I will ask you to sign a therapeutic agreement that outlines my policies regarding cancellation, confidentiality and consent. I offer face to face sessions in my clinics in Pembrokeshire and London, and also offer remote sessions via an online secure platform.

Number and Timing of Sessions

The number of sessions you need will vary depending on your circumstances. However, I should be able to give you an indication of the approximate number required following your assessment.   In general, between 8 to 12 sessions will be required as a minimum and are usually offered on a weekly basis. For more complex and developmental trauma presentations, therapy could last for a few years. I find that it is helpful to regularly review progress to help us remain focussed on your goals for therapy.

Each session will last between 60 - 90 minutes (and charged pro rata).

Cancellation Policy

I am aware that things can get in the way of attending your therapy session, and I ask that all cancellations are made as far in advance as possible. I require 48 hours notice if you are unable to attend your appointment. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, or completely unattended sessions, will count as missed sessions and will be charged in full. I may be able to provide you with an alternative session that week by telephone or remotely online, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Emergencies

Please note, I do not offer a crisis service. The contact you have with me will be limited to your allocated session time. I only respond to messages between 8am-6pm Monday-Friday.

In case of emergencies, I would encourage you to contact NHS Choices on 111, your GP, or to attend your local A&E service for crisis support and advice.
